Another guilty plea today may shed new light on the death of Ashli Babbitt.
David Mish said he called MPD detectives investigating Babbitt's death to tell them he was next to the Speaker's Lobby door when Trump supporter and Air Force veteran was shot.
The Department of Justice says Mish heard Babbitt telling officers barricading the door that the crowd behind her was "not gonna stop."
Mish was subsequently arrested for being in the Capitol himself, and today he pled guilty to a single misdemeanor count of parading, demonstrating or picketing inside the Capitol building.
He faces a maximum of 6 months in jail and will be sentenced in November.
Two separate investigations have cleared the US Capitol Police Officer who shot Babbitt of wrong doing.
