This video reviews teachings from The Week of Power event held at James River Church on the week of Sunday March 12th. Guest speakers were Bill Johnson and Randy Clark.
This event has created a lot of controversy in the ozarks for many reasons. Out of several people reaching out to me searching for Truth, I have decided to make a video series covering this event and analyzing what happened and what was taught, and aligning it with what the Bible says.
I have reviewed nearly 30 hours of footage, and this is the fifth video in the installment: "Practicing False Prophecy."
In this video we look at the encouragement and advocation of Bill Johnson's teachings at the Week of Power for individuals to "experiment" with the miraculous gifts such as prophecy and words of knowledge. He claims that students at his school are now allowed to return unless they've prophesied incorrectly at least three times, thus creating a school of false prophets and celebrating that.

In one of the craziest things we've ever seen, celebrity pastor Mark Driscoll was KICKED OFF the stage at #jamesriverchurch Stronger Men's Conference. Mark confronted a stadium full of men who had witnessed what he called "The Spirit of Jezebel" during the event's Friday night entertainment.
The pastor of James River Church shouted "You're done!" as Mark received his command and left the stage. This and the events that followed has stirred massive controversy over what actually happened and who was right in this interaction.
My review of this situation is an attempt to provide a grounded Biblical perspective of what occurred, and some of my conclusions may surprise you.
Watch as we consider the cost in not following Jesus.

,1,In 2023, James River Church, a once doctrinally sound and respectable church invited Bill Johnson and Randy Clark in to infiltrate their false teaching into the church. This year started no different with the invitation of Todd White, protege of Kenneth Copeland. Todd has been caught faking miracles, claims to be sinless (claiming the heresy of sinless perfection), and preached that "God wants to be your climax" in reference to someone viewing well... stuff we can't say without taking an algorithm hit.
In this video, Pastor Josh Troester reviews some of Todd's most notable teachings and this covers his sermon at James River Church on Wednesday January 3rd, 2024. He also addresses the conflict between the Assemblies of God's position on modern day apostles and prophets with what Todd preached regarding the Five-Fold Ministry doctrine supported and preached by the New Apostolic Reformation.

,1,In this video John Lindell pastor of James River Church instructs his congregation regarding the practice of personal prophecy. He insists that all prophecy should be nice and not mean. That individuals should modify what God tells them to say so as not to call out sin, because we live in the covenant of grace of the New Testament. He then lays out that God doesn't move until we speak forth prophetic statements.
All of this of which is profoundly unbiblical, an abuse of a beautiful grace of God that He gives the church, and classic manipulation of the audience to buy into the false teachings of Bill Johnson, the NAR movement, and now John Lindell.
