Coalition government was ‘more interested’ in press releases than delivering on promises

Infrastructure Minister Catherine King says the previous government was “more interested” in press releases than delivering on promises to build the country’s framework. “The problem I am faced with, the problem that I was left by the previous government, the mess that you left, is that you were more interested in the media announcement,” Ms King said during Question Time on Thursday. “You were more interested in the press release, you were more interested in standing there in your communities, saying you were going to deliver, than actually deliver.”
