Discussions sparked around unregulated social media after Oxford Street rampage

TalkTV contributor Paula Rhone-Adrien says the story surrounding teenagers rampaging through Oxford Street after organising the event on TikTok is actually about unregulated social media. “Everybody knew this was going to happen – there were messages going backwards and forwards,” Ms Rhone-Adrien said. “I’m on TikTok – I put up messages about the law and some of them get taken down. “Here we have teenagers, young people, who are clearly saying come and engage in these criminal activities and TikTok allows these messages to continue.”
