As a key step to sensor fusion, data used collectively from sensors must be synchronous. For this discussion, we look at doing this with GPS and IMU data. When there is a need to look at that data with respect to the same exact instant in time, if it is synchronous, it then can be read as the same language. In this video, we look at converting GPS time to UTC (Coordinated Universal Time).
