On this installment of Washington Examiner's Year in Review, Supreme Court Reporter, Kaelan Deese, tells us the biggest court cases heard in 2022 to be decided in 2023. First, Colleges across the United States are preparing for a future without race-based admissions policies as the Supreme Court will soon decide whether to end decades of affirmative action precedent. The second case is over a Christian designer from Colorado who says she cannot create websites for same-sex couples, citing her First Amendment free speech rights. Lastly, the Supreme Court will decide a dispute between voting rights advocates and North Carolina's Republican-controlled General Assembly, which has the potential to increase the power that state legislatures have over voting issues depending on how justices approach the "independent state legislature" theory.
