Iran successfully test launched the fourth generation of Khorramshahr ballistic missile on May 25. The Kheibar missile, the latest version of the Khorramshahr, has a range of 2,000 km and is capable of carrying a 1,500 kg warhead. One of its outstanding features include quick preparation and launch time, which makes it a tactical weapon in addition to a strategic one. The name ‘Kheibar’ is a reference to a Jewish castle overrun by Muslim warriors in the early days of Islam. Iran tested its new missile days after Israel’s threat. 00:00 - INTRODUCTION 03:02 - IRAN TESTS NEW MISSILE DAYS AFTER ISRAEL THREAT Footage Courtesy: Reuters/Twitter n18oc_world n18oc_crux CRUX is your daily video news guide to the big events that are shaping our world.
