Stunning video shows rare pink dolphin spotted off Louisiana

A fisherman is still reeling from the sight of a rare pink dolphin off Louisiana last week. Thurman Gustin, of Houston, Texas, was fishing with his girlfriend in the waters off Hackberry on July 12 when he spotted a flash of pink, he told the SunHerald this week. “Like I just saw Bigfoot. I didn’t even know there was such a thing as a pink dolphin,” he said of the creature, which he captured surfacing briefly in a video he shared on Facebook. Gustin also claims that he saw a second, smaller pink dolphin, though he did manage to catch that one in the footage. After going through a difficult time, the sight of the dolphins held personal significance for him, Gustin told the SunHerald.
