Role of private sector in sustainable development

The inaugural session of Cape Town Conversation enters its second day today. And Public Enterprises Minister, Pravin Gordhan, is expected to deliver the keynote address. It comes as the country is plunged into stage 6 power cuts and ports face major backlogs due to failures at Transnet. Former Finance Minister, Tito Mboweni, is also set to join a panel of speakers. He is expected to highlight the role the private sector can play in advancing Sustainable Development Goals. #DStv403
