Morgan narrates this special based on Walter Sullivan's book of the same name, which explores the possibility of life elsewhere in the universe. Among the guests are Nobel Prize Winner Dr. Harold Urey, M.I.T.'s Dr. Philip Morrison and NASA's Dr. William Pickering, Dr. Carl Sagan and Dr. Howard Yuri. The film ends with footage of upcoming developments for space travel including the Voyager spacecraft and potential Mars landings.
