NZ Foreign Minister Winston Peters says his party is “very confident” about where it's heading in the future. New Zealand had an election nearly six weeks ago and today, Prime Minister Christopher Luxon was sworn in, and alongside him, Deputy Prime Minister Winston Peters. New Zealand’s National Party – after nearly six weeks of talks – has agreed to form a coalition government with the libertarian ACT and populist New Zealand First parties. “It’s been a very exhausting campaign to get there,” Mr Peters told Sky News host Andrew Bolt. “We put it together, and we’re very confident about where we’re going in the future.”
