A Just Stop Oil supporter who was grabbed by England wicketkeeper Jonny Bairstow when he invaded Lord's during an Ashes Test match has been assaulted by a motorist during a slow march in South Kensington. Daniel Knorr, a 21-year-old student from Oxford, was marching in Cromwell Road when a man wearing a red baseball cap confronted him and aimed a punch in his direction. The student was then shoved to the ground. Video captured from the scene shows a man leaving a silver coloured Mercedes to remonstrate with Mr Knorr after activists blocked traffic on Wednesday. Footage shows the motorists swinging a punch at Mr Knorr who is filming the slow march on his phone before he forces him to the ground and kicks the phone out of his grasp. According to reports, a woman who left the vehicle screamed "stop now, I'm pregnant", before the man shouted "Stop now, stop recording, you little s***," before the attack took place The Metropolitan Police said it was aware of the incident when contacted by the Telegraph. #just #stop #oil Subscribe to The Telegraph with our special offer: just £1 for 3 months.
