Footage shows moments after airstrike hits civilian convoy fleeing Gaza

This video was amended on 16 October 2023 to make it clear within the captions that the before and after clips may not show the same truck and on 17 October to remove the unverified claim that the strike was conducted by the Israeli military. Dozens of people have died in a strike on a civilian convoy fleeing northern Gaza along one of the evacuation routes known to the Israeli army. Verified footage of the aftermath of the strike shows people running towards a truck where several bodies including those of women and children could be seen. The airstrike, which Hamas has blamed on Israel, occurred on Friday afternoon on Salah-al-Din Road, a supposedly safe route that Palestinians are using to flee northern Gaza.
