Princess Diana’s ghost to haunt Charles in season six of ‘The Crown’

Hit TV series ‘The Crown’ has faced backlash as Princess Diana is set to appear as a ghost to Charles in the sixth and final season. “I think that was always the risk with The Crown,” Sky News contributor Esther Krakue told Sky News host Caroline Di Russo. “I know there are members of Buckingham Palace that really shudder every time a new season of The Crown comes out because they’ve had to refute a lot of the nuances in the show that are really artistic license.” She said the scene depicting Princess Diana as a ghost is “quite an interesting one” with the late royal appearing to Charles while he mourns her death. “So again this just harks back to the fact that The Crown is fiction; it is fictionalised, it does have a lot of artistic license and clearly there are some elements that do not reflect reality whatsoever.”
