'It's crazy': passengers trapped in dark carriage of broken down london Elizabeth line

Hundreds of passengers have been stuck on cold, dark trains in west London for hours as travellers suffered significant delays due to damaged overhead electric cables. All trains were stopped between London Paddington and Reading, Network Rail Western confirmed. By 10.30pm, some people were able to disembark from the stranded trains. Some passengers were directed to safety via the train tracks after being evacuated. Network Rail has apologised for the disruptions, saying they are "investigating how and why it happened."
