The King received the Honours of Scotland, the country’s Crown Jewels, during the Service of Thanksgiving and Dedication held in his honour in Edinburgh. He was presented with the symbols of his authority in Scotland - the Crown, the Sceptre and the Sword of State - during a day of pomp, pageantry and prayer celebrating his crowning in May. The King and Queen later watched the RAF Flypast over the Scottish captial, alongside the Prince and Princess of Wales - known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay in Scotland - from the Palace of Holyroodhouse. #royal #kingcharles #scotland Subscribe to The Telegraph with our special offer: just £1 for 3 months.
