ABOUT THE SPEAKERS: After medical training and qualification, Michael joined the Royal Air Force as a medical officer. During a 16-year commission, he also qualified and served as: a Hunter and Jaguar pilot, a flying instructor, and a test pilot. On retirement from the Armed Forces, he worked in the NHS as a General Practitioner and hospital consultant.
