Barbie-pink superyacht sells for $5.86M to tech mogul — Ken not included

In an ultra-feminine twist on a luxury cruiser’s generally stoic design, a pretty pink catamaran has been scooped up for $5.86 million by an unidentified “international tech entrepreneur,” SWNS reports. Built by Turkey-based VisionF Yachts, the 80-foot-long boat has what the company describes as an “unusual, eye-catching pink paintwork,” which makes it “guaranteed to stand out from the crowd,” especially when compared to more traditional models. “The client requested his yacht be painted a custom shade of pink,” VisionF Yachts explained to SWNS, noting that it’s not just the exterior that’s reminiscent of Barbie. The furniture and carpets inside have a pink tint as well. “She is unique in many ways,” added VisionF Yachts general manager Ali Tanir of the watercraft.
