The United Nations appears to side with Russia over the Belgorod attacks. The UN has voiced concerns over a recent cross-border attack in a Russian city while saying it was unable to confirm who carried out the operation. The UN statement comes after Russia's nuclear warning over attacks. Ex-Russian President and deputy chief of the security council, Dmitry Medvedev, said that such provocations increase the risk of a nuclear apocalypse. Photos shared by the Russian defence ministry showed the wreckage of U.S.-made military vehicles, though Washington has denied any involvement.
