Bulgaria announced it would send its ageing, Soviet-era S-300 air-defence missile systems to Ukraine. An undisclosed number of S-300 surface-to-air missile systems will be sent to Ukraine, following the decision by lawmakers. However, Russia urged Bulgaria to reconsider its decision to provide Ukraine with missiles for the S-300 air defence system.
