Qld crocodile population increasing at a ‘slow rate’

Zoologist Professor Grahame Webb says crocodile populations are increasing slowly as Queensland residents are outraged about further protections for the animal. “They’re getting up to carrying capacity so there’s a slow rate of increase now,” Professor Webb told Sky News Australia. “The fast rate of increase took place immediately after protection back in the seventies.”
