Democratic leaders hail 'productive' infrastructure meeting

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says Democrats had a 'productive' meeting with President Trump on Tuesday, despite their 'difficulties' in other areas. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer says it was 'constructive' and investigations into the president did not come up. The detente between Democratic leaders and the White House came after the two parties agreed to work toward a $2 trillion infrastructure deal they said they'll rendezvous to discus in three weeks. 'It was a very constructive meeting. It's clear that both the White House and all of us want to get something done on infrastructure in a big and bold way,' Schumer, a New York senator, told reporters outside the White House. He said, 'There was goodwill in this meeting, and that was different than some of the other meetings that we've had which is a very good thing.'
