Blast At St. Petersburg Cafe, "Russian Strike On Donetsk Kills 6", Ukraine Compares Wagner To Armies

A military blogger was killed and 16 people were injured after an IED blast at a cafe in Russia’s St. Petersburg on April 2. Six civilians were killed and eight others were injured after Russia reportedly shelled Kostiantynivka in Donetsk region on April 2. Ukraine’s Defence Ministry claims that its forces have killed over 4,000 Russian troops in the last one week. Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov condemned Western “hype”over the arrest of US journalist Evan Gershkovich. Ukraine has said that the private mercenary Wagner group’s size is almost equal to that of the armies of Hungary or Slovakia. UK’s Defence Ministry said Russian forces have seen an “extremely high” number of incidents, including deaths, due to alcohol. A top Ukrainian official has outlined a series of measures for “deoccupation” of Russia-annexed Crimea. Zelensky said it was absurd that Russia had assumed the rotating presidency of the UNSC. Former Russian commander Igor Girkin has blasted at Kremlin’s military leadership, calling them “idiots”.
