Taiwan could soon be under US nuclear protection

Taiwan's Foreign Minister has suggested he is in talks with Washington to have the US cover the country with its so-called 'nuclear umbrella'. Analysts warn the agreement could be globally catastrophic as it would mean the US could use nuclear weapons if Taiwan was attacked.
