Handling of Classified Documents Discussed at Hearing in Trump Case

A procedural hearing will be held Tuesday where team members of the Department of Justice’s special counsel Jack Smith and lawyers for Donald Trump are expected to appear regarding classified documents discovered at Mar-a-Lago. U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon will preside over the hearing sought by prosecutors to determine ‘how the highly secretive government documents that are at the heart of the prosecution will be handled in the case,’ per CNN. Trump is not expected to attend and cameras are not allowed in the courtroom.
