Putin sets to address ‘Russian Davos’ as locals divide over lack of Western experts amid boycott

US included, several Western countries has announced to boycott the annual St Petersburg International Economic Forum(SPIEF), which’s seen as "Russian Davos”. The Kremlin claimed 115 representatives of countries and territories have confirmed participation, including China, the world’s second largest economy. But no names of US and EU companies were on the published schedule for the SPIEF.   In the Kremlin’s words, it somehow reflects certain investors are facing “unprecedented pressure” amid the West’s most severe sanctions against Russia.
