Ukraine Wants Samp-T or Patriot for Odesa After 'Biggest Attack', UK Spy Chief Lures Russians

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has ordered to strengthen the protection of port infrastructure after Russia’s Odesa attack. Zelensky said that Ukraine needs additional SAMP-T or Patriot air defence systems to protect the city after a lawmaker said the port region had possibly faced the biggest Russian attack yet in the invasion. Ukraine's military intelligence has denied that its head Kyrylo Budanov had claimed responsibility for a “successful operation in Crimea”. South Africa has said that Russian President Vladimir Putin will be attending this year’s BRICS meeting virtually following a “mutual agreement”. Moscow said it had not threatened South Africa with war if it executed an ICC warrant for Putin's arrest as it was "absolutely clear to everyone what it means to try to mess with the Russian head of state." The UK's spy chief assured Russians "appalled by Putin's war" that their "secrets will always be safe with us", drawing a sharp rebuke from Moscow.
