A senior Pakistani journalist was reportedly fired from state-owned PTV for asking PM Shehbaz Sharif questions on press freedom. Journalist Azam Chaudhry said he was fired hours after raising questions during a press conference. Shehbaz Sharif deflected the questions and asked the journalist to voice concerns to the Information Minister.
