AEC worried about low turnout in the Aston by-election has ‘surprised’ Pauline Hanson

One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson says the Australian Electoral Commission is worried about the low turnout in the Aston by-election “surprised” her. “The AEC puts up a by-election, the people in that electorate you actually have to vote, and it’s up to the people,” she told Sky News host Paul Murray. “If you don’t turn up to vote, you will actually get a fine. “I’m surprised by the AEC pushing that line.”
