The standard way in which we usually perceive the ability to think and reason, it's as if were some superpower that allows humans to create understandings, new ideas, and products solely from the mind itself. After all, humans have been able to create all sorts of extraordinary devices that never existed before, not even something similar. But in reality, we can only work with the stimuli we receive from the outside. People's ideas and values come from their environment. Reason alone is not useful.
