A Chinese warship came within 150 yards of hitting the American destroyer USS Chung-Hoon sailing through the Taiwan Strait on June 4. The latest aggressive military move comes as the US destroyer took part in a rare joint Canada-US mission in the Taiwan Strait. A People’s Liberation Navy ship reportedly picked up considerable speed and cut in front of the bow of the Chung-Hoon.
