On August 15, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russia launched Shahed kamikaze drones from its Primorsko-Akhtarsk airbase, prompting three national aerial alerts. Russia’s Defence Ministry said they had intercepted a Ukrainian drone over Belgorod air defences. Moscow also reported the interception of four SCALP-EG long-range cruise missiles. A conflict between Russian military units in a village in Zaporizhzhia Oblast resulted in 20 soldiers' deaths. In Kyiv, a new demining machine, inspired by World War II technology, was tested for efficiency.
