Pelosi Reportedly Manipulating Feinstein’s Senate Replacement Process

Nancy Corinne Prowda, the oldest daughter of former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, is closely advising Sen. Dianne Feinstein as she returns to the Senate after a nearly two-month absence. Prowda, a lawyer and political consultant, has been working with Feinstein on a range of issues, including her health care policy and her upcoming re-election campaign. The report confirms suspicions that the Pelosi family is assisting Feinstein in an effort to keep her in the Senate and prevent Gov. Gavin Newsom from appointing Rep. Barbara Lee in her place. This would keep Pelosi's preferred candidate, Rep. Adam Schiff, in contention for the seat.
