FTA outcome could mean ‘billions of dollars’ in market access

National Farmers’ Federation CEO Tony Mahar says Trade Minister Don Farrell coming to an agreement with the European Union on Fair Trade could mean “billions of dollars”. “It could mean if we get the right outcome, billions of dollars in terms of increased market access for things like beef, sheep meat, dairy products, grains, sugar,” Mr Mahar told Sky News Australia. “That’s why we’re here, that’s why we’re pushing Minister Farrell to get a good deal because we do think it’s worth it.”
