‘Super exciting time in Australia’: Boom in women’s sport development

Australia has experienced a boom in women’s sports development over the last ten years, says Women Sport Australia President Gen Dohrmann. “We’re just really seeing a great rise of female talent,” she told Sky News Australia. “We’ve really seen a shift in the creation of role models of female athletes and it’s really been fantastic to see so many people really getting behind the female teams and the female competitions. “A super exciting time in Australia for sport and just really exciting to see how things are going to continue to grow and sustain.”
