US military recently concluded an exercise focused heavily on guerrilla warfare and other tasks deep behind enemy lines. The Ridge Runner Exercise 23-01 featured what looked to be a mock Russian S-300 or S-400 SAM system and kamikaze drones. The exercise that concluded on June 16 appeared to be directly influenced from the fighting in Ukraine. The drill managed by the West Virginia National Guard is designed to create a dynamic and realistic training environment.
