Albanese spotted dancing during Pacific Islands Forum

Anthony Albanese has been filmed busting a move during a trip to the Cook Islands for the annual Pacific Islands Forum on Thursday. The Prime Minister took part in a traditional ceremony and donned a lei before having a jig during a break in between talks with 18 Pacific Island nation leaders. Mr Albanese’s dance was a brief light-hearted moment in the middle of a particularly serious forum where leaders will thrash out a range of pressing issues, including the climate crisis, regional security and the US-China rivalry. The Prime Minister is also set to pledge millions of dollars in funding for the United Nations Green Climate Fund to help Pacific Island nations adjust to climate change.
