Spanish bullring pays tribute to Picasso on 50th anniversary of his death

Spanish bullring La Malagueta paid tribute to Picasso on the 50th anniversary of his death on Saturday (9 April) during the event “Corrida Picassiana". Matadors Cayetano Rivera, Juan Ortega, and Pablo Aguado were the stars of this bullfight, traditionally held in August. However, this year it was moved to Holy Saturday to coincide with the 50th anniversary. Pablo Picasso was born in Málaga, Spain, and is considered one of the most important art figures of the 20th century.
