Philip Johnson begins his talk by pointing out that such a theory would allow humans not to know the mind of God, but rather to be omniscient. Johnson proceeds to give his audience a guided tour of the history of Darwin's ideas of evolution and their ramifications and implications in present day society. Ultimately, Johnson provides convincing arguments against the "scientific game" that assumes a materialistic reality in its pursuit of an explanation of the universe and exposes many of the problems of evolutionary theory.
