'President Zelensky ANGERS Russia by Bringing Ukrainian Soldiers Home' Five Ukrainian commanders who were captured by Russia after leading the defence of Mariupol from the Azovstal steel plant have returned home. President Zelensky met them at Istanbul Airport during his visit to Turkey before arriving in Lviv with them on Saturday. The five heroes had been released from Russian captivity in September 2022 but were being held in Turkey until the end of the war as part of an agreement. The decision has sparked anger from the Kremlin who has accused Ukraine and Turkey of a “direct violation” of their prisoner exchange deal.
