However, the IDF say they believe Sinwar is using a network of tunnels to hide.  It comes as Israel’s Prime Minister is exerting pressure on the Red Cross to visit the remaining Israeli hostages in Gaza. There are believed to be 138 hostages still being held in Gaza. An expanding air and ground offensive in southern Gaza has displaced tens of thousands of Palestinians. The UN says it’s created ‘apocalyptic conditions’, with the ‘remnants of a nation being driven into a pocket in the south’.
