‘Enormous talent’: Ed Husic reflects visit to students at National Science Olympiad

Industry and Science Minister Ed Husic says there is “enormous talent” amongst the students he met who were competing at the National Science Olympiad. “We can put that enormous talent to work if we rebuild manufacturing and open up economic opportunity through the things we are doing as a government today,” he said during Question Time on Wednesday. “We know there is a lot to do, we’re not wasting any time in revitalising Australian manufacturing and sharpening the nation’s technology edge.”
