Valley students attending free camp to learn construction skills

Dozens of local 7th to 9th-grade girls and boys will learn how to use power tools, drive heavy equipment, and learn the joy of building with their hands. It's part of a free week-long camp taught by local electrical workers, carpenters, concrete experts, and even Meta. This is especially important for girls, as women make up just 11% of the construction workforce.
