Word’s Matter with Kel Richards: Atheists ‘shot themselves in the foot’ with abbreviations

Wordsmith and broadcaster Kel Richards thinks atheists have “shot themselves in the foot” replacing the historical abbreviations BC and AD with BCE and CE respectively. Mr Richards said atheists “haven’t succeeded” in replacing the historical abbreviations BC and AD, which come from Christian origins. “They are now claiming a common era began when? When Christ was born,” he told Sky News host Peta Credlin. “So they haven’t actually succeeded in promoting their atheism at all and I think it’s absurd.”
