Moment Nevada Judge Gets Attacked During Sentence Hearing

In this video a Nevada court judge was attacked by a defendant in a felony battery case on Wednesday. Clark County District Court Judge Mary Kay Holthus fell back from her seat and “experienced some injuries,” according to the state's court. Deobra Delone Redden, 30, was in the Clark County District Court being sentenced for an attempted battery charge with substantial bodily harm. He pleaded guilty in November and was arrested in December after missing a court appearance. The courtroom marshal was injured as he came to the judge's aid and was hospitalised for treatment for his forehead and a dislocated shoulder. Redden was arrested and jailed at the Clark County Detention Center, where records showed he faces multiple new felony charges.
