‘Values or value for money’: Vegan food bubble 'bursting' amid cost of living crisis

Debate rages on in a cost of living crisis about whether “values or value for money” is more important, says TalkTV contributor Rosanna Lockwood. According to Ms Lockwood, “the vegan food bubble is bursting”. A new report claims vegan food sales have significantly dropped because they’re simply too expensive, despite one-quarter of all food products launched in the UK in 2019 being labelled vegan. “What about when money gets tight for consumers, like at the moment with sky-high inflation,” she said. “Do you really stick to your values when it comes to your shopping list?”
