Knife and Hammer Attack at Paris Gare de Lyon Station

Three people have been injured in a knife and hammer attack at one of Paris’ main train stations. The suspect was quickly arrested after the attack at 7.35am at Gare de Lyon this morning. He apparently displayed signs of mental illness, and had medication in his possession that suggests he was undergoing treatment. Police say the attacker is a Malian national, and was in possession of an Italian driving license. There have been a number of knife attacks in Paris in recent years.
