Safeguarding an open and free Internet

This session gathers researchers and experts to exchange on what joint AU-EU efforts can do to safeguard an open and free Internet. Its purpose is to raise awareness of the opportunities and challenges to promote a truly inclusive digital transformation, including ethical aspects, regulatory and technical fragmentation, geopolitical competition, restrictions on freedoms, and data sovereignty.
