Defeating the Enemy: Pastor Paula White's Spiritual Warfare Sermon

She gives a brief background of Satan, whose original name was Lucifer, and who was the chief of all the Archangels. He was cast down from heaven due to his pride, and now uses accusation and slander as his main weapon. Pastor White outlines the four most powerful weapons against evil, which are the Word of God, the name of God, the blood of Jesus, and our praise. She encourages the congregation to replace their feelings of rebellion with praise, and to listen to Christian music to get their minds in the right place. In this sermon, Pastor Paula White explains the tactics used by Satan in spiritual warfare against God's people. She explains that Satan is the "accuser of our brothers," who brings legal action against us every day. He looks for any claim he can make against us, and he twists and manipulates the Word of God to do so. She gives four main tactics that Satan uses in spiritual warfare: accusation and slander, stealing our inheritance, killing our efforts, and destroying our lives. She also explains that Satan's ultimate goal is to separate us from God and His plan for our lives, and to ultimately condemn us to an eternity of destruction. She encourages us to fight against Satan and to restore what has been taken from us by the finished work of Jesus. Lastly, she encourages us to forgive those who have wronged us, as unforgiveness can open the door for Satan to bring legal action against us.
