‘Our patience has a limit’: Lowe defends RBA’s actions

RBA Governor Philip Lowe says the Reserve Bank reached a conclusion to take action and raise cash rates due to a plethora of factors putting risk on Australia’s inflation outlook. “Our patience has a limit, and our risks are starting to test that,” Mr Lowe said during the ABA Conference in Sydney. “We thought we needed to respond after holding steady in April.”
